Hardship Support

Life can be overwhelming at times, and I never want the cost of therapy to be the reason someone goes without support. To help, I keep a limited number of reduced-rate spots available for those who may be experiencing financial difficulties.

If you’re interested, please don't hesitate to reach out, and we can discuss availability.

You’ll find some answers to common questions below, which might help you feel more comfortable before reaching out.

“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass. It’s about learning to dance in the rain.”

FAQ

✨ How do I ask for a hardship rate?
Just send me a quick message or mention it during your consultation. You don’t need to share personal details about your finances—simply let me know that the sliding scale would be helpful for you.

✨ How many spots are available?
I keep a limited number of sliding scale spots open so I can continue offering them in a sustainable way. Availability can change depending on how many are filled.

✨ How much is the reduced rate?
Reduced sessions range from $55–$75, and we can work together to find a rate that feels manageable.

✨ Will my sessions be different if I use a hardship rate?
Not at all. You’ll receive the same care, support, and attention as any other client.

✨ Do I have to prove my income to qualify?
Nope! I work on the honor system. If you say the sliding scale would be helpful for you, that’s enough.

✨ How long can I stay on the hardship rate?
We’ll check in together from time to time. You can keep the reduced rate as long as you need it and as long as a spot is available.

✨ What if no sliding scale spots are open right now?
I keep a short waitlist for hardship slots. If one isn’t available, I’ll let you know as soon as one opens.

✨ Can I switch from full rate to sliding scale later?
Yes—if your situation changes, we can talk about adjusting your rate to the scale when a spot is available.
